The AquaStar 240FX gas water heater is state of the art and it has many mounting and venting options. Exterior mounting is for mild climates only (no freeze ups) and requires no Vent Terminator.

Wall Hanging Bracket. Mounting of the 240FX is accomplished 3 ways. Free standing on a noncombustible base, wall mounting on a noncombustible base, or hung on a wall using optional Wall Hanging Kit:TK-WB01.

Temperature Remote Controller. The output temperature of the 240FX can be controlled with a remote controller (up to 150 feet away) with the optional TK-RE01.The controller model TK-RE01 can adjust the output temperature from 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 C) to 167 degrees Fahrenheit (75 C).

Exterior Venting and Back Flow Kit. This is a exterior vent kit and back flow preventer all in one. A back draft preventer should be used when outside temperatures are below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, which prevents cold air from freezing the heat exchanger on the 240FX.
